The Ethiopian Sports Federation in North America (ESFNA), founded in 1984, is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the rich Ethiopian culture and heritage, and to building a positive environment within Ethiopian communities in North America.

Bringing Ethiopians together to network, supporting the business community, and empowering the young through scholarships and mentoring — with soccer tournaments, other sports and cultural events as the vehicle.

The first tournament was played on April 20, 1984, between Washington D.C., Dallas, Houston and Atlanta. Ethio Dallas took the first cup.
